A magnificent set of 4 antique Victorian walnut balloon back chairs dating from circa 1880. Good quality examples with beautifully figured walnut frames, with carved roundels, stuff-over seats and shaped turned legs. The upholstery is in good condition. Good patina, very solid and sturdy, would make a wonderful set of dining chairs. Dating from circa 1880. One chair has an old mend to the top rail, which is solid (see photos).

Solid frames. One chair has an old mend to the top rail, which is solid (see photos). Lovely age and patina to the walnut. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Clean fabric with firm and sound upholstery.
