An elegant set of 4 antique Victorian balloon back chairs in walnut. They have crisply carved crests to the top rails and carved bars to the backs. They stand on cabriole legs with carved feet. The seats have been newly recovered in a sateen fabric with cream scrolls over the existing upholstery which is old but in fair condition. There frames are fairly solid and sturdy. A very decorative set of chairs with lovely warm patina to the walnut frames and crisp carving.

The frames are fairly solid and sturdy. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered with new fabric over the existing upholstery which is in fair condition. Some worm holes which has been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
