This antique burr walnut serpentine fronted chest of drawers is extremely high quality & has lovely proportions, plus a wonderful mellow colour. It’s in very good original condition, having just been French polished & I would date it to around the 1910 period. The top & drawer fronts are burr walnut with walnut cross banding. All the drawers are graduated in depth, oak lined, with fine dovetails, original brass handles & locks. This chest of drawers has reeded canted corners, a brushing slide & it sits on strong looking bracket feet.
