Scumbled Pine Kitchen Dresser c.1870. pine kitchen dresser %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Unusual 19th.c. painted pine sideboard or kitchen dresser c.1870. High shaped backstand with a serpentine shelf and four small drawers above a thick counter top with moulded edge over six graduated drawers around a small central cupboard with shelves. Unusually it retains the original hand painted ‘scumbled’ paintwork intended to imitate the grain of more expensive timbers, in this case an elaborately figured burr walnut. Very good condition, original through. Key supplied.
Dimensions: width 60″, depth 20″, height 69″.
