Very nice mid 19th century Scottish treen barrel with original lid. The barrel is of staved construntion in rosewood and maple with brass bands. The original lid in is oak with carved rope edge and original rosewood and maple carved knob. The barrel also has an oak bottom. It is in very good condition for its age with no damage and no repairs.
