Royal Worcester Mansfield pattern cup and saucer
Vintage Royal Worcester fluted coffee can and saucer in the Mansfield pattern, and with a gilded edge.
Mansfield was one of the patterns produced by Worcester back in the early days of porcelain production (c1780), and then right through to the mid 20thC.

The saucer carries the Royal Worcester backstamp with date cypher for 1961.
The cup/can carries the Royal Worcester backstamp with date cypher for 1957.

The cup/can measures 5 cm (2") in diameter and stands 5.8 cm (2.3") tall. The saucer is 11 cm (4.4") in diameter.
All measurements are approximate.

The duo is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing, and minimal wear to the gilding.
However, both the saucer and the cup have a mark alongside the word "England" on the backstamp … gold on the saucer, grey on the cup. Not the usual way of marking, but are these seconds?

Please see photos as these form an important part of the description.
