This is a most attractive and useful antique bookcase, born out of solid oak, beautiful veneers and top craftsmanship. The antique finish is bright with a mellow patination. The quality of the carving is exceptional.
Recently purchased from a large country house in the South of France, this bookcase has undergone light restoration and polishing to raise it to the superb condition it is now in.
There are 5 substantial and fully adjustable rosewood fronted shelves, giving good depth and plenty of book storage space.The single door retains its original bright and clear bevelled glass.
The entire Bookcase breaks down for ease of movement and will be re-assembled by our removal company.
