This is a charming linocut titled 'Cottage and Downs' by the acclaimed 20th Century artist Robert Tavener (1920-2004). The view is of a thatched cottage nestled in the Sussex South Downs with a field of red poppies in the foreground.

It is a Limited Edition print signed in pencil bottom right with the number 1/4 on bottom left. This is a very small print run indeed, though at least one other version of this view does exist in a larger print run. It comes framed and glazed.
