We are offering for sale an interesting retro oil on canvas from the 1960s by the artist SUSIE CALDECOTT, who has signed the painting verso on the canvas. The painting is an abstract study in blues, green and browns.

We have dated the canvas to the 1960s due to the price of the canvas showing as 26/-, therefore priced pre-decimalisation which occurred in 1971.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to find any biographical information about the artist on the usual sites and our reference books do not cover this period.

The painting is framed in a 2 1/2" silver gilt modern frame, which suits it very well.
