Regency Style Mahogany Grill Front Drinks Cabinet
Antique Regency style mahogany grill front drinks cabinet in good original condition & dating from around the 1930’s period. It’s very good quality & is perfect for use as a drinks cabinet. The top is reeded & there are very detailed turned columns running down the front sides & extending to the legs that have spiral & fluted turnings. The doors have brass grills over fabric. There’s very slight marking on the fabric, so please enlarge the images to see for yourselves. Personally, I wouldn’t change it as it’s all in keeping & looks fine. However, it wouldn’t cost that much to replace. The inside is fitted out with two glass shelves & there’s a pull out glass section for serving drinks on. There is a drawer below the cupboard & it has fine dovetails. We haven’t had this piece re-polished like most our products, because the polish is fine, with only a slight bit of fade hear the top, which is all part of the character. This cabinet comes apart in two sections, so transportation is easy.
