Regency Spice Tower. T670
Early 19th century three tiered Spice Tower. Turned from sycamore in Tunbridge, Kent, these containers for spices screwed together to form a tower, and could be stacked as much as 10 high. The name of the spice is printed unto a scrolled label later Victorian towers had straight labels. The labels on this small tower are all intact, and overall the condition is good except for a crack in the base container. Circa 1820.
