Regency Revival Mirror Back Console Table
Very elegant Regency revival mirror back console table with a hand painted faux marble top and concave plinth base with turned columns, circa 1900.
Wonderful simplicity to this console table, finely turned and tapered columns complemented by the grain patterns of the concave plinth with the foxed mirror glass too.
The hand painted faux marble top is well textured and suits well…a later addition as most likely would have had a marble top.
Good condition and well polished.
Measuring:
Height: 34 inches or 86.5cm
Width: 36 1/2 inches or 93cm
Depth: 15 inches or 38cm Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
