From the early 19th century, this sofa has all the style and elegance of the Regency period in which it was made. The subtly shaped back and scrolled arms are embellished with brass roundels and stringing. The wooden frame retains its original painted surface and brass castors. It has been re-upholstered in a neutral fabric. Circa 1820.
