Regency Mahogany Sofa Table With Drawers
Very elegant late Georgian to Regency period mahogany banded drop leaf sofa table with two drawers, ebonised mouldings, a pedestal column and splayed legs on original brass lions paw castors, circa 1820 and in good condition.
Good consistent rich mahogany colour tone throughout and stand well with the leaves up or down. The table can be used freestanding with it being identical to the rear, albeit with drawers to one side and dummy drawers to the other.
Measurements:
28 inches or 71 cm high
57 1/4 inches or 145.5 cm wide
25 3/4 inches or 65.5 cm deep
35 1/4 inches or 89.5 cm wide with leaves down Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
