Regency Mahogany Pedestal Tea Table
A lovely quality Regency period mahogany tea table with pedestal base. The base stands on four legs with reeded moulding and applied bosses to the sides. The feet have the most wonderful ormolu mounts which are all original. The central pedestal is turned and the fold over top is of solid Cuban mahogany. The whole is of the very best quality of the period and while simple in design it is elegant and timeless. The table has a deep rich colour with good figuring to the timber and the whole is in excellent condition with the odd blemish indicative of age. C.1820.
