Regency Mahogany Metamorphic Library Steps Table
A rare Regency mahogany metamorphic library table/steps, with two dummy drawers having original brass handles and raised on tapering ring turned legs. When opened the hinged top reveals tooled olive green leather surfaces. The removable brass pole aids stability when using the extended steps. When not in use this pole is housed under the table. When closed, this superb table with its rich colour and patina, is an excellent side, occasional or writing table. The condition is very good, the table stands solidly and does not wobble.
