Regency Mahogany D-End Dining Table with One Leaf antique regency English %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This antique dining table dates from around 1820-1830s, but has had various alterations over the years. The table has a d-end at either side and a central leaf, which may be later than the ends. The table is oval in shape and is supported on shaped legs. It retains four connecting clips.

Condition: Overall this useful piece is in usuable condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use. There is some quite heavy scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall faded. There are various signs of restoration and alteration, and the central leaf looks to be a later replacement (the colour and finish does not quite match the d-ends). The top is quite heavily scratched and marked and there are small gaps between the d-ends and the leaf when extended. It would benefit from some sympathetic restoration.
