Antique 19th Century Georgian Regency mahogany chest of drawers.
This is a beautiful item, with a lovely age and colour.
Solid, heavy with no loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely.
Lovely proportions and styling, with a great look and full of charm.
Swept bracket feet....aesthetically very pleasing.
This is a heavily patinated chest of drawers that looks and is fantastically old.
Maximum overall dimensions 1015mmW x 500mmD x 980mmH.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, chips, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and desirable for this type of item. There is some historic distortion to the veneered drawer fronts (slight curvature) which is common and adds to the age and charm. Replacement handles. No keys and the locks are consequently untested. There are some historic woodworm holes (believed extinct) that have been treated for good measure.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able-bodied persons for our driver to assist with carrying.
