Antique Georgian Regency (late 18C / early 19C origins) large inlaid mahogany bow front chest of drawers.

This piece of antique furniture is solid with no loose joints and all of the oak lined drawers slide freely. Solid mahogany sides and top, with the drawer fronts being made from veneered softwood.

Large proportions with a lovely age, colour and patina. Fantastically old and characterful, with bags of age and charm.

Would look great in the right location and the line inlays lift this chest above most others available.

Maximum overall dimensions 1140mmW x 590mmD x 950mmH.

Historic knocks, marks, wear, scratches, cracks, chips, distortion, repairs and alterations. Later handles and escutcheons, no keys and the locks are consequently untested. There are some historic woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. The back of the chest may not be original.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able-bodied person to assist our driver carrying the chest.
