Regency Mahogany Adjustable Mirror on Stand c.1830 shaving make-up mirror %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Fine Regency shaving or makeup mirror and stand c.1830. Original 14″ diameter mirror in a moulded mahogany frame, angle adjustable on a carved yoke with scrolling ends. Height adjustable with a counter-balanced mechanism with two long lead weights which run inside the column pedestal. With a small circular table and larger tray below with lockable lid, raised edges to both. Particularly well-figured flame mahogany veneers to the column and antique tables. Raised on shaped tripod legs in solid mahogany with carved floral detail and scrolling feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
