Regency era embroidery c.1830. Depicting the holy family with original decorative glass surround. Beautiful hand embroidered raised stumpwork gives depth to the figures and landscape whilst the sky, faces and feet appear to be painted onto the silk base cloth. Presented behind the original glass reverse painted in the rear with gold detail and black ground. In a gilded frame.
