Here is an example of a very good quality antique Regency bow front mahogany chest of drawers, circa 1800 – 1820.

This is an excellent quality Regency mahogany bow front chests of drawers constructed of mahogany during the George III period (1800 – 1820). It has four working graduated pine lined drawers with the top drawer have three separate compartments. The drawers feature the original brass oval plate handles. The chests boasts good quality reeded edging to the base (a sign of good quality) and the original well shaped mahogany bracket feet. The backs of the chest feature pine back boards. Both chests are constructed of top quality solid mahogany timber throughout. During this period, England was importing top quality timber from the colonies.
This chest would look superb in a variety of rooms from the hall way or the bedroom. This chest would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

This chest is in excellent condition and commensurate with its age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Excellent colour patination to the timber. The drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. The brass oval plate handles and backboards are original. Some professional minor restoration has been undertaken to the feet. Some minor woodworm damage to a backboard - this has been thoroughly treated with woodworm killer - please remember that these are the original backboards. Solid in joint and ready to use.

UK Returns & Refunds
A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. The buyer is required to cover the cost of return transit – the collection cost is the same as the delivery cost. You will be given a refund (excluding the delivery and collection cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.
