Fine quality mid 19th.c. burr walnut centre table c.1870, reduced in height to make a stunning feature coffee table. Quartered burr walnut veneers of superb grain arranged symetrically on solid mahogany ground work. With fine marquetry work inlays in mahogany and satinwood. On a centre pedestal featuring four fluted supports raised on four carved and shaped walnut legs, retaining the original white porcelain and brass castors. Condition is excellent, with some wear typical of age but freshly French polished in our workshops.
