This is not only a beautiful telephone it is also very rare and sought after. This would make an ideal Christmas present for someone that could use it on there work desk to wow the clients and give pleasure to the user.
This is in wonderful condition with no colour fade or damage. It has been totally stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It retains an original GPO No12 enamel faced dial in perfect condition and its original red braided handset cord. This model is very rare to find and also very difficult to get to work correctly on the modern system. I have made some alterations to the internals to allow perfect modern use. It is fitted with a GPO specification round plastic line in with a UK telephone plug socket and I have fitted a best quality electronic microphone to bring the speech quality up to modern standards.The handset and base are both dated 1954. I bought one of these about 15 years ago for my collection and have rarely seen Red 314 turn up since. This is ready to plug in and go. I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
