RARE early Scottish Wemyss Ware medium size preserve pot and original lid decorated in oranges which is one of the more in-common patterns. The oranges decoration has been well painted and is nice and crisp. The pot is in very good condition with no cracks or restorations. The base has the early impressed Wemyss mark but also has a very unusual type T. Goode retailors mark which is in capitals and underlined. (we have not seen this T. Goode mark painted like this before).
