Rare Right Handed Welsh Cawl Spoon - Treen
A very rare and extremely interesting 18th/19th Century Welsh sycamore Right Handed cawl spoon of unique design.
Handed spoons are rare but we have never seen another quite of this design. Carved from one piece with superbly shaped bowl and quirky angled handle.
Purchased privately together with a cawl-spoon rack and other spoons from a Cardiganshire house.
Length 7" = 18cm Bowl Length 3" = 7.5cm
