circa 1850. Rare pair of quality, Continental, Biedermeier neat-sized chests of drawers. The tops veneered with segments of flame mahogany with outswept corners above the four shaped-front drawers with mother of pearl escutcheons and matched flame mahogany fronts. The corners with finely turned cluster columns surmounted by acanthus carved capitals, all over neat turned feet.
