Rare 19thC Welsh Butter Scoop with Print - Treen
A beautiful and very rare early 19th century Welsh hand carved sycamore butter scoop with print handle from Cardiganshire. This being an extremely special example having a double sided stamp to the handle, the top side having a wonderfully carved geometric pin wheel and on the reverse a little duck. The handle also carved with the initials E.O.
With just a few historic worm holes to mention this scoop is in excellent condition with the most wonderful colour surface.
Length 11.5" = 30cm Width 5.5" = 14cm Stamp Diameter 3.5" = 9cm
