Queen Anne walnut Bureau with shaped interior

Superb early 18th century Queen Anne walnut veneered bureau of a beautiful colour and patination. Veneered on pine with wide cross banding to the top, ends and fall.
The bracket feet and brass fretted handles are both later Georgian but both are perfectly acceptable.
The bureau has a well with two over two drawer configuration below. The drawers with moulded edges, cross banding and inlaid with a holly line. The drawers are all oak lined and have their original steel locks.
The interior of the bureau is really nice. Stepped interior with central cupboard flanked by "book" drawers either side and various drawers and pigeon holes. Shaped aprons to the pigeon holes of which the end two are also drawers.
As to be expected the piece has a few old veneer repairs here and there and there is also old worm damage in places but nothing serious on either count.
SIZES 36" wide by 19" deep by 39" high
