Unusual early 20th.c. Queen Anne style burr walnut chest of drawers c.1920. Walnut veneered and crossbanded top over three shallow top drawers plus two larger drawers below. With crossbanded burr walnut veneered drawer fronts and decorative handles. Shaped apron and particularly good carved legs and stretchers in solid walnut with an unusual hoof foot. Of superior quality with solid mahogany sides and drawer linings. With label for the London makers and retailers Davis & Sons of Tottenham Court Rd. Repairs to the back edge of the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.
