Queen Anne style burr walnut desk
Lovely quality Queen Anne style desk in burr walnut and in great condition.
Well made with the burr walnut, herringbone inlays surrounding the drawers and the desk top itself, beaded drawers, standing on pad feet with shell carvings to the shaped legs.
This is a good size for an everyday desk, but also would work very well as a dressing table too.
Three useful drawers, all running well and with original locks, but I don’t have any keys for them...I will see if I can find replacements if possible, though the drawers have good “fishtail” drop handles for opening.
Fantastic colour and patina, ready for many many more years of service.
Measuring:
29 3/4” or 76cm high
38 1/2” or 98cm wide
21 1/2” or 55cm deep
22 1/4” or 56.5cm kneehole height
