A splendid burr walnut bureau in the queen Anne style. Of excellent construction in solid walnut and with attractive burr walnut veneers onto a solid oak carcas. The top, the fall front, the drawers and the sides are all cross banded. The fall opens to reveal a fully fitted interior complete with a leather writing surface and a lockable central cupboard. Beneath is an arrangement of 2 graduated drawers each fitted with its original solid brass handles. The fall and all of the drawers are lockable (keys supplied). All standing on elegant cabriole legs in solid walnut with carved detailing to the knees and terminating in stylised feet. Offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home or office.
