A good quality Victorian figured and burr walnut open bookcase. The top shelf having a three quarter gallery with decorative carved centre above a walnut panelled back and well turned and carved supports. The rectangular shaped top having book matched figured walnut with moulded edge and joining the burr walnut frieze. The 2 sections each having 2 walnut faced adjustable shelves with carved top and bottom corbels to the stiles. The whole supported on a plinth base with off set moulding. Condition- Very good with no damage. Dimensions:- Max.Height…54’’/ 137cm. Width…72’’/ 183cm. Depth…15.25’’/ 38.5cm. Shelf Depth…11.5’’/ 29cm. Base Height…39.5’’/ 100.5cm.
