This is a quality 19th Century Victorian antique mahogany bookcase. The upper section having an attractive shaped cornice over a pair of glazed doors with shaped mouldings and turned columns. The doors open to reveal an interior with adjustable shelves. The base having a lovely serpentine shaped mahogany top and one long drawer, two figured mahogany shaped panelled doors, turned columns, opening to reveal a fitted interior. It stands on a plinth base. It has an original key.
A splendid example of its period - delightful colour and condition.
