Super, primitive, early antique painted footstool
Lovely naive display piece.
The legs are clearly misplaced but perfectly strong & sound
Please observe, the legs have more recently been finished to level the stool.
This presumably to enable the stool to sit perfectly as it does.
Interestingly the stool has two original holes within the top. Most likely for the positioning of something.
The stool shows great wear to the front edge showing much use.
There has been some minor woodworm, long since gone!
Treated & waxed to provide a nice clean silky smooth finish
