A gorgeous BURMANTOFTS Faience Art Pottery Jardiniere/Planter (Pot) produced between 1882 and 1904. A beautiful graduated brown/cream high gloss Burmatofts Faience glaze with turquoise roundels and raised decoration. This vibrant piece will look wonderful in either a period or a contemporary setting.
Marked on the base with impressed Burmantofts Faience England and design no. 1978A as illustrated.
PLEASE NOTE - THIS LISTING IS FOR THE JARDINIERE PLANTER (POT) ONLY. We also have for sale a similar Burmantofts JANDINIERE STAND as illustrated in picture 5. This is probably not the original Stand for this Planter, but has a very similar colour pallete and is a very good match. Please see separate listing.
