This is a pretty antique French Gilt mirror with nice neat proportions dating from around 1850. The mirror has attractive spiral moulded detail and is nicely rubbed back showing the red oxide glowing through the gilt.

This has its original mercury plate glass which has aged nicely with areas of spotting and sugaring throughout. The mirror is a very useful size measuring 96 cms high by 64 cms wide.
