A very large Carter Stabler and Adams Poole Pottery vase decorated with bands of stylised birds amid flowers and foliage separated by chevrons within stripes. Vividly painted in shades of green blue, brown yellow and black on an off-white crackle glaze ground.

It stands 26.5cm high, the neck is 14cm in diameter and the vase is approximately 23cm across at widest part. It is in very good condition and free from any damage or restoration. There are a few tiny 'holes' to the glaze and one glaze frit on the body which have all occurred in manufacture. Stamped and printed marks to base as shown.
