Pier Cabinet - Victorian - c1880
A Victorian ebonized pier cabinet with a duo of shelves within a lined interior presented in good condition.

The piece is pleasingly crafted and features working lock and key.

Rising from a chamfered plinth with feature ormolu gilt metal mounts at the base and top, with further gilt metal at the lock escutcheon and upper trim.

The cabinet benefits from attractive walnut inlay and marquetry across the front of the piece.

Overall a very desirable Victorian piece which offers tremendous style as well as being a functional item of antique furniture.
