Paul Deacon is a highly collected marine artist ,Paul Deacon was born in 1953 at Dartmouth in Devon, England.
He Joined the Merchant Navy After Leaving the merchant navy Were he was a deck officer he entered the prison service were he ran art study group classers, in the 1990s he emigrated to new Zeland, upon arrivel in New Zeland Deacon took up painting full time he is now a highly collected marine artist and has since had several solo exhibitions in Auckland and Northland and The UK . Paul Deacon's work is held by leading galleries around the world and throughout New Zealand,,and in the United States, France, and Ireland. His paintings and illustrations have been commissioned to illustrate a number of books and magazines in New Zealand and the UK, Sailing Publications have published articles about him and his Marine Art .
