Paris Porcelain Empire Style Cabinet Cup c.1810
A fine Paris porcelain Empire period three footed chocolate cup with lion paw feet, beaded border around the base and an Imperial Eagle set into the ornate moulded handle. A large panel to one side is well painted with a floral arrangement set on a column. Ornate gilt decoration surrounds the rest of the cup, wide gilt band inside the rim and further to the handle and feet. Unmarked, c.1810.
It measures 10.8cm (4 1/4") high to the handle, 8.7cm (3 7/16") to the rim and 9.8cm (3 13/16") wide rim to rim (11.4cm (4 1/2") including the handle).
In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and very minor handling wear, just fractionally to the gilt on the feet. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
