A handsome panelled oak blanket box or coffer dating from circa 1920s. Of panelled construction with carved front, it is in an attractively figured quarter sawn oak and has a panelled top. The hinged lid lifts to reveal a large amount of storage space to the inside. In well-figured oak with good colour and patina. Would make a good blanket chest, storage box or coffee table.
