A very decorative pair of small antique Victorian walnut balloon back chairs. They have ornately carved backs, stuff-over seats and stand on cabriole legs. The existing upholstery is sound condition and they have been newly recovered in a cream brocade. A very decorative pair of chairs and of a small size, dating from circa 1890.

Solid and sturdy frames. Some old mends to the backs (see photos) Other wear and marks commensurate with age. They appear to have been recently refinished and polished. Newly recovered over existing upholstery which is firm and sound.
