A lovely pair of Victorian period children's or nursery plates. The plates both are octagonal with a fancy moulded edge. The centres are transfer printed with two scenes 'The birds nest' and 'Docility' both are decorated in underglaze colours. The plates are not marked but do have a patent mark dating them to 1847. The plates are in good condition for age, with each having a small chip on the underside.
Each plate has a diameter of 7 inche At Prometheus Antiques we want our customers to be completely happy with our items everything is sold with a guarantee and all items are fully and clearly described. We are happy to organise deliveries to all destinations. Delivery of some items will be free depending on size, delivery method, and location. Where charges are made for delivery we try to be as cost effective as possible on your behalf. Deliveries can be organised all over the world so please do ask wherever you are.
