Pair Of Regency Design Demi-lune Tables
A PAIR OF FINE REGENCY DESIGN DEMI-LUNE CONSOLE TABLES VENEERED IN FINELY CRAFTED YEW,SATINWOOD,MAHOGANY AND BURR-OAK/WALNUT HAVING EBONY STRINGING & CHERRYWOOD INLAY & STANDING ON TAPERED LEGS.
A wonderful matching pair of regencey design demi-lune console side antique tables,beautifully made from a variety of wood veneers and displaying a fabulous grain and natural original rich collour.
They have been hand crafted using a fine selection of both yew,satinwood,mahognay and burr-oak/walnut veneers,being edged in a black ebony stringing with cherrywood inlay.
Well wax finished with a good surface patina and original satin and honey glazed colouring,with no signs of fading and without any bad marks on the top surfaces.
These lovely examples date between 1811-1820.
