Very impressive pair of large faience pottery vases by the French makers Gien (est.1821) c.1900. Large baluster vase bodies with highly decorative floral designs in gold with white and turquoise highlights in slight relief, all against a deep cobalt blue ground. Topped with a pierced and decorated brass crown and raised on a pierced base with elaborately cast neo-Classical feet. Marked to the underside with the GIEN monogram. Excellent condition.
