Pair of French bedside cabinets pot cupboards
Lovely quality pair of French mahogany and ormolu mounted bedside cabinets or pot cupboards, with original marble tops but also with an unusual shape tapering from the rear to the front - hope this shows in the photos...circa 1900 and in good original condition
Certainly would have been from an incredible bedroom suite originally and likely to have been a Paris or Lyon maker at this quality and style.
Both have the single drawer at the top then with the pot cupboard below, one marble lined and the other with a ceramic lining.
Very elegant fluted and tapered legs and the cane shelf at the base
