I know most people will not like or understand these in anyway, but they are incredibly rare Early Georgian Devon Samplers. What makes them even rarer, is that they are mother and daughter.

The first by Margret Northcote, completed 1737 aged 7 years. Margret was born in Honiton, Devon in 1730.

The second by Margret's daughter. Margaret Toller, born Honiton, Devon in 1767. The sampler was completed 1776 aged 9.

Purchased privately in Devon.
