Pair of Deep Seated Country House Sofas
A rare pair of walnut deep seated feather down filled cushioned country house sofas.
English circa 1900 -1910.
Extremely comfortable and of very good deep proportions this pair of Edwardian sofas have four finely carved hipped front cabriole legs with acanthus leaf to the knee finishing on hairy paw feet and splayed legs on castors to the rear. The shaped back having down filled cushions to the fronts with high scrolled shaped arms enclosing a further three cushioned seats, individual antiqued brass nail stud work adorns the arms and perimeter of the base.
Newly upholstered in a fine Voyage linen with the legs having been wax polished these pair of sofas are wonderfully comfortable and in excellent condition ready for home use.
Please note it is extremely rare to find a pair of antique sofas.

We have a reputation for being long established antique dealers in London having had showrooms concurrently running in Islington, Chelsea and Ascot. We have relocated our new showroom, due to London overheads, easily reached between A1 or A10 to just outside of Hertford, Hertfordshire.
