This is a fabulous pair of large Chinese dragon vases in a delightful strong yellow glaze which date from the mid 19th century. The tall acid yellow vases stand 49 cms high and have applied entwined dragons with great detail to the design. The left hand vase has a small hairline to the neck which is very fine and quite stable, the other is in good condition. Both have small rim chips to the glaze on the base as photographed but overall these are in good condition for their age. The glaze has a really rich depth of colour with fabulous craquelleure giving the pair a really great striking appearance with much character.
